Effective team communication is key to successful medical operations. Eva is built to support your patient communications, team communications, and the intersection of the two. To begin understanding the foundation of team communications work within Eva, watch the video below.
Within Eva’s settings, your practice can create groups for team communication and tasking. Groups are created under the Team Content Block. When a group is created for internal team tasking and communications, make sure to turn off the visibility of the group to patients.
Eva helps your team create, manage and complete tasks within your clinic. Tasks can be created for individual team members or team groups and tasks can be patient-specific. You can set the priority of a task, choose a team member or group, select a due date, set up a reminder, and even create a follow-up task.
When you choose to create a patient-specific task, this task and the details of the task are accessible through the patient’s dashboard. The task area of a patient’s dashboard keeps track of all the tasks specific to that patient. Tasks are not visible to patients.
Eva’s dashboard was created to keep your entire team on the same page regarding the status and location of patients and providers within the daily clinical workflow. Updating a patient’s status may seem like a minor task but it has proven to increase clinical work day efficiency, customer service, and patient satisfaction.
The power of the design and function behind the patient interaction within Eva is tremendous which is why we educate on this topic so frequently. Facility-specific clinical workflows inform the design of your Eva instance and functionality. Check out the video below to learn more about the team and patient communications driven by the creation of a patient interaction.
